This looks really lovely Blue, I'm immediately intrigued by the textured brush you're using here and noticed as soon as I looked at this. I think both really suits your style and really suits the scene too, gives the whole piece a sense of realism and texture especially with the hair and fur. 
Also you made them look really damn cute here, their gestures are so simple yet delicate and gentle~ ;;;

I wanted to give it a look like it would really come from a fairytale book.
I tried using my soft shading style but it didn't look like what i imagined, so i used the pencil brush and was pleased with the outcome :>
