hte componenst are cool but I think the reΓ±lationaship betweeen them in the final piece is kind of bad they misffit and the relationsahip is almost null....
You need a BG that fives that and also some work on the foreground to ustify your distribution (vector work should do)
I think you can say you finished the medium plane...

this is very good, though personally i think it would have looked nicer if it was blue, but hey i can't do stuff like that anyways.

the only thing that really bothers me about this image is that small unnecessary green color ar the top, its way out of place, and it draws away from the real focal point. Other than that this is a very nice peice

geez, fishing for comments, aren't ya? don't worry - we all do to some degree or another.
on a technical level, there isn't much to dislike about this piece. you've obviously put a lot of work into it's compostion. however, it lacks an emotional dimension that would make it truly great. you need to add something of yourself that would give it your unique and original touch. something that people will look at and say: "that has to be a dreamvisions piece".
hope that helps. don't be scared to cast your rod my way again in the future.

Man, came here when there were no comments yet, had to do something in the meantime and look how many comments there are already!
Well, anyway, like the "star roses" (or whatever you want to call them). Very cool having them be translucent. It's a shame though that the grid doesn't flow behind them as well. Like the playfullness in the brightness of the grid. Job very well done on the technical stuff (like the readouts and displays). Adding the butterflies makes the image look more alife.
I like the colours very much.

interesting idea....I haven't expected that those are flowers until I saw the beautiful butterflies. And yeah it's kinda empty....have to work more on other places; and the flowers...I think you can use more objects or colors to simulate the details of a flower....but not all purple

Usually, I hate the abstract 3D renderings that have no definable form, but this is a huge exception. The butterflies add life to this image and accentuate the 3D shapes! Great work!

perhaps you could use more linework in your work... it would really help break up the composition and direct the eye... everywhere. right now it just seems... random... give us something to do. get us moving. with the linear fashion of the background as well as the area w/ text, linework would really help you out. just a thought

Took forever to load on a dialup connection, heh. Great wallpaper, the renders look really neat, abstract as heck, and has loads of detail (I spent alot of time squinting at it, heh) the top right butterfly looks like it got stabbed by one of the abstrat critters. Overall, I like it.
