Description
The dock bug (Coreus marginatus) is a pretty large bug (up to 16 mm). Like all shield bugs, it is part of the order of Hemiptera (also called true bugs). Phytophagous, it feeds on fruits, sap and seeds. It can eat cucurbits. It can be repelled by planting repellents such as mint or catnip. Present in Europe and in Siberia, it likes wet meadows, wastelands, edges of wood, gardens ... It is possible to observe it almost all the year.Wanna support me ?
