.the mesh on his shirt was created with a pattern stamp in Photoshop 7 BEFORE it was coloured....REMEMBER FOLKS!! NEVER COLOUR YOUR ORIGINAL LINEART!^O^...saves on a LOT of headaches when you make mistakes!

Never color your original lineart? Do you print yourself a copy and color that? Now I'm confused 0_o

Yup^^...I scan in my inked lineart....adjust the contrast/brightness to get a crisp white background and black linework, as it usually is pretty grey when you scan it in. From there I clean up any mistakes I've made...size it...then print out a copy on index weight (110lb) cardstock....and then from there I colour^_^...so yea...I NEVER colour my original inked lineart anymore^_^V....learned that from studying books on mangaka^_^V
