PHEW!^o^....got this done with time to spare!^_^VTis 's KICKASS chara Karniel of Delenion....tis for ze Private Exchange round 24
did a little experimenting with this one> .>;;;...trying to expand my horizons with materials....so yea...not the best..but...at the same time...I am QUITE pleased by how it turned out^_^V
Done with watercolours, coloured pencils and a exacto bladeXDehehehehe

have I not commented on this yet?? I -totally- love this. It's very different from your normal fare but it's fabulous. I love the loose colors and the undefined shadowy torso. It works with the dynamic pose and expression so well. Totally -awesome-. I'd love to see more like this!

Your skill is unbelievable. As far as I can tell the anatomy and pose is accurate. How well you’ve done the shading and simpler details are very amazing. Especially his eyes, gloves and armor. I like the small splatters of red and blue and the white streaks of rain. Its rather ingenious how you used an exacto blade to create the lines.

woah. that is so cool. it's so loose in places, gives it alot of motion. and yet very detailed in the right places. i love the background, you don't even notice everything at first. looks like it was fun to make.

I actually had an art trade with Molly, and for my half wrote a story partly based on Karniel, so I have to say, I'm TOTALLY in love with him now

as for selling a print of it...well...I dont own the character, as he belongs to and I really don't feel right selling a print and making money off of her character

Unlike many of your other works I've happened upon, this one has a definate manga influence to it. Rather refreshing to see your take on it, although it isn't much of a stretch, considering your consistant use of watercolor and the like, and simular tools are used in such comics and its art form.
Beautiful color scheme and dynamic pose, it gives me a real sense of the brave knight rushing forward to battle the confrontation that lies in his path. I dig the swirlies and water & paint splatters too ^.^

This almost looks like a monochromatic piece, being there is so much blue or colors that appear to be blue. Anyway, I absolutely love this picture. Especially the way the entire piece looks faded or worn abit, as if its an old protrait of said character hanging in the ruins of a castle or something. My imagination as me read far too much into these things ^.^;;

I love the feeling it gives, sort of old meets new, the action pose=new vs the old feel of the "photo", i also like the "icy" color scheme.
