Created as a donation incentive for the RELAY FOR LIFE walk my elder sister will be participating in this coming June.This will be available at ANIME BOSTON this coming weekend as a 5.5 x 8.5 print for donations of $5 or more and as an 8.5 x 11 print for donations of $10 or more.
100% of all funds from the sale of this print will be donated to the RELAY FOR LIFE/ American Cancer Society.
Done with Neopiko ink liner 0.1, Copics, white acrylic and PS 7.0 for background and colour adjustment.

alsoalso...these characters are Ameya(human) and Loki(cat) from my original series MY CAT LOKI published by Tokyopop Inc. and are NOT Dominic Deegan and his cat, despite the incredible similarities! XD;;;; I honestly created My Cat Loki waaaaay before I even knew of Dominic Deegan and trust me when I was floored by the similarities in the character designs....and yea...Ameya and Loki DO often get mistaken for Dominic and his cat! LOL XD I really ought to chat with Mookie sometime about that and see what HE thinks! XD LOL all the times I see him at Anime Boston (he usually ends up at the table ACROSS from me) I always miss the opportunity to do so XD;;;;

I'm probably a terrible person, because when I first say this I thought YAOI.
Still, read the first two books of your series at my library two days ago, was hooked. I hope to read the third one. I hope Ameya kicks Loki's previous owner's ass, or at least bitches to him.

Actually, when I first pitched the series to Tokyopop, the founder, Stu Levvy thought my series was going to be shounen ai >.>;;; which really would have been gross since it would have been beastiality...what with Loki being a cat and all ^_^;;;;

and yea...Ameya is too much of a softy to kick anyone's ass XD;;;...running off crying or having an anxiety attack in fear of losing Loki is more his speed! XD;;;; but yea, OMG! and I want to own MCL 3 too!!! but first I need to actually DRAW MCL 3 to own it! LOL XD....well...actually...when you think about it, I already do own it since I'm the one creating/writing/drawing it! LOL XD
I do hope to have something new of MCL soon though...even if it isn't MCL book 3! XD;; but we'll see where inspiration takes me as I've a great idea of what I want to do though XDehehe

Ah, Relay for Life!
I am on the committee as one of the young ladies that will be hosting kids games. Where are you from, if I may ask? I am doing the Hudson Relay for Life in Wisconsin.
I have always loved your series and I have always wondered if the third book ever came out since I haven't seen it yet. Love this piece of work and the characters. My cat looks similar to Loki and acts like him as well and I call him Loki at times and he responds. He's such a strange cat.

And unfortunately, Tokyopop cancelled the MCL series after book 2 ;_; but I am working to do book 3 on my own and self-publish it so it'd at least have some sort of conclusion and not be dangeling! LOL XD

aw man! I KNEW I should have checked out your table a bit more DWS! If I had seen this print I would have bought it. I'm a big supporter of Cancer Research and the Relay for Life. My aunt died in early 2005 from breast cancer, the same year she was named Female Survivor of the Year for the RFL.

Especially when just last night I finally got to see a pic of my aunt's headstone (when we buried her the marble my uncle had imported from italy hadn't made it yet... she apparently had a HUGE insurance policy, and I hadn't been back to the cemetary since). My Uncle had a research ribbon chiseled into it... it was beautiful...
