Created as a donation incentive for the RELAY FOR LIFE walk my elder sister will be participating in this coming June.This will be available at ANIME BOSTON this coming weekend as a 5.5 x 8.5 print for donations of $5 or more and as an 8.5 x 11 print for donations of $10 or more.
100% of all funds from the sale of this print will be donated to the RELAY FOR LIFE/ American Cancer Society.
Done with Neopiko ink liner 0.1, Copics, white acrylic and PS 7.0 for background and colour adjustment.

alsoalso...these characters are Ameya(human) and Loki(cat) from my original series MY CAT LOKI published by Tokyopop Inc. and are NOT Dominic Deegan and his cat, despite the incredible similarities! XD;;;; I honestly created My Cat Loki waaaaay before I even knew of Dominic Deegan and trust me when I was floored by the similarities in the character designs....and yea...Ameya and Loki DO often get mistaken for Dominic and his cat! LOL XD I really ought to chat with Mookie sometime about that and see what HE thinks! XD LOL all the times I see him at Anime Boston (he usually ends up at the table ACROSS from me) I always miss the opportunity to do so XD;;;;

I am seriously in love with these two :3 the books were amazing! I read them like... three times XD While reading, I kept looking at my cat, Angel, and I kept thinking "What would she look like as a cat-girl? o3o What would she say?"
Loki is halarious and Amaye is so nice. If you ever get back onto writing the 3rd, I will definately buy it ^^

It'd probably be the same as how Loki and Calli first met! LOL XD Luka was Loki's polar opposite, a bright and sunshiny disposition, always wanting to give warm loving hugs, even to those that don't want them! LOL XD I think it's the same for when people that don't like cats are the ones that cats will first go to and start being all loveydovey towards...either because they don't know any better and want to love EVERYONE or they do it on purpose to annoy the cathater! LOL XD yea, Loki would do it to annoy, Luka would do it cause he wouldn't know any better and wants to love everyone! XD LOL

lolol I'd love to see that as a comic! XD As if Luka never passed away and Ameya found Loki and brought him home. Luka'd try to be the big brother and Loki would want nothing to do with it. It'd be adorable!

hmmm...that is a thought XDehe Though, it'd be hard to figure a place or time to do it since Luka would be old and Loki would be young ^_^;;; keeping in mind that Luka died from 'natural causes'/old age (though I personally think it was heartbreak ;___
though, I suppose the 'alternate universe' rules COULD apply....hmmmm....will have to think on this some more XDehe

lol Yeah you have a good point there. Luka would probably be an adult since Loki is like like a kid. But he'd still be a kid at heart. I'm 21 and I still act like I'm 10. XP Knowing Loki, he'd try to act like he's the boss for being younger and stronger and thinking he's smarter. I cried when it got to Luka's part of the story! I felt so bad for him and Ameya. Luka only wanted to be with Ameya forever, but it was just not allowed. It broke his little heart. I wish I could have looked after him. I am a cat lover. I have 13 cats at my house. I love them all! He'd have a blast here with so many friends he could play with.....Luka on catnip....LOL!!
I look into alternate universE ideas all the time. It's fun with what you can come up with!

I wish you can finish the series I wanted to know what happens to those two. To bad Tokyopop is closing in May maybe you can try another manga company like Yen Press they are looking for fresh blood there.

Actually...I'm HOPING to have a preview of whatever I can get done for Otakon at the end of July. The current contract book work I'm on gets done around the end of June beginning of July and as of now I've nothing in line to jump onto, so I'm taking the opportunity to both work on pitches for new series to submit to Yen Press or possibly Viz (though I think I've far better chances with Yen Press XD ) AND work on the rest of MCL! ^_^V I'd actually love to redo the entire series someday so it's updated art and hopefully better writing >.>;;; I know there was a lot more I could have done to make the first two books better, but I was limited in page number and time to get things done
Otherwise, even with TP closing their US office, I still don't have full rights back so I can't bring MCL anywhere to be printed/published >,< D'OH!! but there's nothing saying I can't finish it and print it on my own! XDehe
