Not so great. No. The scanner kinda ruined the colours... so I'm left with this sort of... mess... thing. Perhaps I should see if I can get it photographed instead at some point. I'm kinda sad it turned out this badly. Oh well. Maybe better next time.Related content

If you have photoshop, you can fix the colours this way:
open the file, press keys "Ctrl", "Shift", and "B" for auto colour and then for auto levels, press "CTRL", "Shift", and "L".
Auto level is usally not necessary, but I've discovered from editing photos, that this method also works for art!

I actually did that. It didn't really fix them exactly.... but... it made it a little closer. But this is still such a sad parody of the actual piece. XD

I have no idea what you're going on about, man. This is absolutely lovely, and the colors look simply gorgeous. Don't be so hard on yourself. D: Though, I completely understand what it's like to want your work to look as vibrant on the computer as it does in real life. Sometimes it just isn't possible, sadly.

This is absolutely amazing! I love the blending that happened for the gray/black background, and those orchids are ABSOLUTELY beautiful! The contrast between his paleness/dark hair with the pretty blend in the sky is GORGEOUS.
I love it! And the white outlines that show some dewy areas are so cool... GAAAHHH faves ^^
