Well, it has been 7-months since I last drew... >__<
So... I decided to go back to basics and brush up on my rusty skills.
I decided to do something slightly different this time around.
I did a regular Line/Joint sketch first... then drew the full figure outlines.

Line Colors:
Step 1) [Lt Red] - Drew rough bone sketches ... (regular paper)
Step 2) [Black] - Drew proper figure outlines ... (tracing paper)
Step 3) [Lt Green] - Drew in Spine (curve) lines ... (photo editor)
Step 4) [Lt Blue] - Drew in Rib lines ... (photo editor)

This is the usual order in which I draw my figures:
1) Head circle + Eye/Nose lines
2) Spine curve
3) Joint circles + Hand/Feet blocks
4) Rib + Pelvic blocks
5) Draw finishing outlines ... (usually another sheet of paper)

This is basically how I go about drawing figures.
Hopefully it'll help some people (newbies) draw a little better using this method.

Excellent poses and Figure construction. I really like how you broke everything down, including the ribcage. I have never added in the ribcage until I started doing professional classes, this sheet really gives me an idea on how to do that now. Thank you for sharing!

There are various ways to do the body construction, and I'm still looking at which is best for me.
Glad you like this; please look around my gallery for more if you like.

Sorry, but I'm still working on Female drawings ATM.
Once I perfect that, I plan on moving to Male drawings... because that (for me) will become easier later on.

Beautiful! Nice variety of poses (was there a live model, who was she?), good job of going inside and outside the figure, great explanation of the process for beginners like me (I can write or pose, but in my mind my drawings get frozen at the stick-figure level). I'm going outside my norm and Favouriting this, so it's always within my reach to learn from! Keep up the great work!

Thanks.
I get most of my reference images from "babe" models scattered throughout the internet.
(At least I keep them clean... *cough cough*) XD

Anyways, glad you found the steps useful.
I found various drawing methods here on DA, but found this method best suited for my drawing style / preference.
