This took so long to make >-< Between constantly driving around everyday for the past two weeks, to taking care of my sick grandmom.. some how I managed to finish this . Well.. it's still sketchy, but I thought it looked good.

//The Tale//
||The story starts||
Björn was born in the boreal region of Kahali, not so far from the city; Clipso. He was the first born son of Espen (Bear of God) and Hendricka (Rules the Home). The Proud couple had two twin sons, Björn being the first to be born and his slightly younger twin; , the pair raised their sons to be a strong as feasibly possible. It would help him live in the harsh terrains of East Rendali. Their pup was soon nicknamed; "Cub" for his resemblance to a bear cub, not to mention the meaning of his name was literally 'bear'. The family had been known for this characteristic, so when another shinlai called 'Cub', many knew they meant Björn.

As Björn had grown, the herd his family was a part of had stayed in the usual location, just outside of Clipso as the herd rarely moved. That was a mistake. Little had the group known, they were hunted by The Circle, a cult who poached Shinlai; and sadly, young Björns family and friends were slaughtered right before his eyes a few weeks after his 15th birthday. He tried to save them, and with the recent discovery of his powers over lighting, he desperately tried to attack the humans of The Circle back. Sadly due to lack of control over his element, it backfired and he ended up tripping himself into a trap set by the Circle. Björn fell and smashed half his horns off, while his left arm was stuck in a modified hunting trap that would fit a shinlai. He was too exhausted from trying to use his element to do anything, so the young Lai lay there all night with a heavily scarred face, broken horns, and a nearly ripped off arm.

The next morning, Björn's luck had returned from a human hunting party who had been allied with Bjoörn's group had been passing by.They soon found the carnage and the lead huntress found the young Björn and quickly had her hunting party save the lone survivor. Having brought him back to their small village which was also outside of Clipso, but higher on the map than where Björn's home was. His leg had to amputate for it has quickly become infected, and would have been a hindrance to the young Lai's development. Björn while in mourning had pushed himself to learn his element. Fleur was no stranger to the customs of the shinlai, so she knew Björn deserved a mask. She crafted a mask for the young shinlai and crafted it to be a mixture of his parents masks.During Björn was practicing one day, the small human village presented him with the mask. This erased the hatred he had been growing in his heart for humans, and Fleur took him in as her 'son'. This kept him from learning much of the Dark blood revelation, or much more on Dalia (His parent's weren't the most religious but they believed in Dalia. They spoke briefly of her to Björn in his younger years.)

On Björn's 25 year, he learned his adoptive mom was pregnant and was soon to have another child. And a few months later, Björn's little brother was born. He was named; "Evander Van den Bos". Björn, while rarely having the urge to protect anything but his brother was new and he had already lost a younger brother. He wouldn't let this one go, too. Björn was later nicknamed 'The Grizzly' for his protectiveness over Evander. It reminded many of a mother Grizzly and her cubs, that plus his similar pelt to a bear and the nickname he had in his younger years.

The brothers bonded over time, and became inseparable. Evander had the cool older brother, and Björn had the best little human brother. The pair had become the best hunters of this predominantly hunting village, and were unbeatable. How could they be? A shinlai and the Archer. In addition to that, No one in the village saw Björn as simply another shinlai. He was the son of their lead huntress, and no one dare say otherwise.

Now age 52, Björn was an adult now and always wondered how life was outside of a human village. However, he didn't want to abandon his brother. So after some coaxing, the brothers have gone traveling across East Rendali. Unfortunately, Björn was faced with his worst fear once again. The Circle. Björn was attack on sight, and Evander tried his hardest to save Björn, but The Grizzly shinlai had trained. While he had gained a few more scars, predominantly to the face. He fended them off with the help of his brother and they fled the area otherwise unscathed.
