When fans draw their favourite cartoon in anime style because they think it looks better in anime, that is terrible - but when they draw it in anime because they think it's anime that even worse....

many people like to make cartoon characters into anime style, my question is
why not the other way around (I whould love to see Hellsing in Vasquez style or Bleach in Simpsons style)

I agree, Zim is definately not an anime...but I still draw him in my own style (which has been heavily influenced by other cartoons 'n animes). Is being hypocritical? O.o

I have a friend who can't draw them in their 'shorty' style, only like normal humans, and one who can only draw anime... But I only don't like when someone draw them in anime, cuz he/she thinks they looks much better in this style... yuck!

How would try so hard to draw Zim in anime when it's like ten times easier to just draw him the way he should be? I mean... come on! I can't draw anime for me life, but IZ ish easy! And a lot more fun too... You don't have to worry about all of the realistic size nonsense when drawing IZ style! Whoo! Mini rant of the day! ^^ Great drawing, by the way.
