Description
Taken a few months ago on a weekend trip with *onesadlittleboy to Lenox Head - Shelley Beach - NSW, Australia. Cameron knew the place so he led the way, walked down the beach to the point, great rock shelf for some sunrise mayhem. All images are Β©copyright Drew Nelson Hopper. As always I'm disgustingly envious of your skies! We never get those skies especially near the sea here, all clouds seem to evaporate or turn into a blurry soup once they touch the sea

We have plenty of skies like that here too. Lately it's been epic cloud cover, check this photo from last night [link]

I love the orange in the sky, and of course the water and how soft it looks.

This is so beautiful! Amazing movement you've captured here, it's so dynamic! Would it be too much trouble to ask the exif data for this?
I'm just curious

Awesome tone depth. I wish I could get my landscape shots to come out crisp like this.

Really nice cloud formations man, perfect saturation on the whole scene as well, very natural looking.

Nice light and nice motion; sure to be a hit one here. Ultimately though the image lacks a composition and feels unstructured.

I'm going to disagree, I see a structured composition, although maybe the scattered clouds are putting it off balance slightly. Thanks for your input Alex

I think the clouds add balance and the sea has 3 distinct planes
Hey what kit are you shooting with these days.. I've lost track.. Mal is thinking of moving to Canon and a MKII
