Description
The daily commute for the local people, to and from work in Hoi An, Vietnam Southeast Asia. Every day, everywhere, you will find bicycles and scooters throughout the town centre and isolated villages. It's challenging trying to convey a sense of transposition and put it into context through a single frame, which is why I believe this is one of my strongest street images to date. I was going to fave this work, anyways. But when I saw the little smilie with his tongue poking out; on the bike closest in the shot. I fell in love. It adds a lot of character and makes the people seem more real somehow.
