Description
It's all the same gal, same outfit, taken in the same spot. I've simply digitally altered the background to look like different colours. In the past I've had studios where I've painted all the walls different colours to use as backdrops (and even in my current studio I have a pink wall and yellow wall. But I've discovered, if you make it blue (or green works too), then you can alter the hue with image editing to look like any other colour. And it doesn't affect the subject, so long as they're not wearing any blue.
So the two blues (top left and bottom right) are the unaltered original colour, the rest are all manipulated.
Does it look good? I think I may just go with blue studios from now on. I'm now even thinking about painting the floor blue, though I'm undecided, as I like the earthy brown wood feel too...
Anyhow, this is Nicole Lazuli, a wonderful model I worked with last week. Find her on FB: [link]

That is very nice, I never would have guessed. (Then, I know nothing of photography but anyway... ) It is interesting that with a different background colour, one pays attention to different things...

Not only is it a good manipulation; it's also a Warholian collage so it works as art in more than one way.
If I might suggest though, paint one wall "blue screen blue" and another "green screen green", to cover yourself against the prospect of someone wanting phtographed in a blue or green outfit.

The studio building has a green screen room, so I am covered (the green room isn't always available, which is why I decided to do this in my own studio).
I do really like the blue though in it's natural state!

Hm, that's some neat work here, I could not tell that the colors were manipulated. I guess the original blue is awesome though- that color fits your model the best. As for the floor...I think you should give it a try and see if it looks better in blue.

Yeah, I think it works great. And not just colours, you can desaturate the blue and increase/decrease the blue's lightness to make light/dark grey.

Next time I get a willing victim I'll try it. Unfortunately I don't think it'll work with the infinite white pics I just took. (Would love your critique if you felt the urge)

Very cool, If you hadn't have said anything about it, I wouldn't have been able to tell.
