"Just one of the members who were there assembed
Could think of a thing that the thing there resembled,"
are lines worthy of Dr. Seuss himself

I must agree with Rogue428. I will go out and HAVE kids just so I can read this to them.

You're doing a great job of redoing these, especially the text. This particular one had bothered me in its original form; this version is much better. And really, awesome work on the whole thing in its entirety. It's just spectacular.

This is brilliant on a scale I can't even fathom. Please tell me you intend on publishing this.

The fourth line seems a bit long. Consider:
Then with questions was Lagrasse beset.

Hey Geo,
Thanks for caring about this thing enough to offer constructive criticism.
The anapestic tetrameter scans something like this:
when leGRASSE had preSENTed a STONE statuETTE
then with QUESTions from EXperts leGRASSE was beSET
(This is complicated by the when/then rhyme at the start, I know)

Thanks for the reply. When you put it in meter like that I see how it works.
