We have some here in Holland. But I mean the canal and the buildings! In the oldest part of Amsterdam (around the red light district) you will find scenery's like this one in Venice, and indeed, without gondola's, but with other kind of boats!!!

Gorgeous! I love the blurred movement in contrast to the sharp, still buildings and boats-- it gives a wonderful ghostly, "time is passing" feel to what would normally be just a typical city shot. And I also love how the warm light in the barber window pulls the eye along the canal to a good focal point. Post more, hurry!

I'm torn between loving the depth of color in the water and wishing the whole scene were a bit darker, to lend even more contrast to the yellow light blasting out of that room. But I really like it.
