This is a picture taken from inside this really old slide down in Whispering Pines (used to be a campground thing). It was placed to be used as a waterslide....but the river is almost always dried up down there. So when your get on this thing and slide down, you're basically slung down about 6 feet of air only to have your fall broken by river rocks.I don't know much about this thing, except for it's a rocket ship woot! and it's supposed to be super rare (like only three are left in the United States or something ridiculous like that). It's apparently quite a bit of history to this area...

ok, I warn you though, there isn't a lot to the place. there's a rather flighty heron that chills there in the river but everytime you try to stop and take pics it scampers off. sadness
