A DRAWING?!?Wow.
So this may look familiar...maybe. I took a picture of a few daffodils and really liked one in particular. so not only did I fix it up, but I decided to draw it.
So, Graphite was used.

Lovely job! The realism and depth you have achieved here is remarkable, considering the lack of color. The textures of the petals are so well done, and the overall distribution is pleasing. The slight sweeping textures of the blank space (the sky?) give the piece a kind of motion and liveliness that I don't normally see in floral artwork.

Oh wow. Thanks! I really love the depth of your critique! I'm extremely happy with the stylized background. I was just trying to make a quick background at first, and it turned out really awesome. I always thought it looked like sunlight or even something that inspires motion.
