Nice job.
It's a shame this console didn't sell as much as Nintendo had hoped. Thanks to the majority of "grown-up" gamers being unable to see past Nintendo's "kiddy" image, this console was passed up in favour of the Playstation 2 & XBox (both of which I own mind, but they didn't keep me from playing on my Gamecube).

Haha, I played AC not for too long in GC, but I did so in NDS (for a year and I thought it was a lot 
And that's true, there have always been gamers who are too "hardcore" to play Nintendo games, and all the reasons they give are meaningless and without even trying to play some of these masterpieces. But for me and for a high amount of gamers, Nintendo will always be the pioneer and maximum developer of imagination, innovation, originality and therefore success of all the big companies.
Anyway, Gamecube was always underestimated.

When Resident Evil 4 came out on this console... I played it so much that it couldn't read the disc anymore

Yeah, at first I didn't even want to try it, but then I watched it for a while and I ended up hogging the console. heheh. Metroid Prime and Prime 2 were my second favorites though. Thanks for the Nostalgia!

Sin duda, los primeros juegos en los que piensas cuando se te viene a la cabeza los recuerdos de esta maravillosa consola, para mi la mejor de todas: Es la que más entregas de Mario Party tiene (4, 2 con micrófono.), la que tiene el mejor Paper Mario, el mejor F-Zero (Aunque yo nunca lo he jugado.) y para mi, el mejor Mario Kart. Y para aquellos que no pudieron disfrutarlos que sepan que es muy probable que en un futuro estén disponibles para descargar en la Consola Virtual de Wii U.

Para mí esta consola pasó un poco desapercibida y es la auténtica joya, porque es un importante paso intermedio entre las nuevas sagas que aún acababan de nacer en N64 y que tenían menos calidad gráfica y juegos de ahora (Smash Bros, F-zero, METROID, StarFox, Paper Mario, Party... y otras nuevas aqui como Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem o Pikmin), pero aún manteniendo la calidad y el control tradicional (Zelda Wind Waker=obra maestra (y Four Sword Adventures super desconocida y es la leche), Mario Kart, Tennis, incluso Pkmn Colosseum era genial).
Ahora siento decirlo pero tanto juego "innovador" de Wii y ahora de Wii-U, pueden ser las sagas de siempre, pero los veo muchos o demasiado explotados, o con controles que no me convencen para disfrutar como siempre. Lo mejor de esta última sería disfrutar de los clásicos de GCN, igual que ahora con 3DS y tal lo que me entran ganas es volver a pasarme esos grandes Zeldas Oracles, Warios Lands, Pokemons Amarillos, Metroids de GBC/GBA...

I have still my GameCube in the same place as when I had just bought it many years ago, but I don't use it... though what I always use is the GC Pad on Wii!
