For the Fan Favorite Princess Contest!
Aurora is my personal favorite Disney Princess, so here we are~ I ended up spending waaaaay more time on this than I anticipated, but hey. Sometimes we all get bitten by the fan art bug.
Part of the challenge of the contest is to draw your favorite princess in full body, which ended up being my favorite part of the contest, I think. It kinda forces you to think of a scene moreso than just a simple bust would. Plus I typically need more practice drawing full-bodies anyway. 
The last couple times I've drawn/colored Aurora it's been in her royal gown, so I thought I'd change it up and draw her in her peasant clothes~

Her face really carries that feeling one gets from dancing when there's no one around to critique. She's fully invested in her activity and doesn't have to worry about what anyone thinks. The linework on this is really quite wonderful, amplified by rich colors.

She looks so lovely! And double plus bonus for her peasant clothes. I always love seeing her and Cindy in more comfortable garb (since they grew up more simply than the royalty they end up in).
Also, since I love that she and Pocahontas are your fav's, I just need to make sure you're aware of Pocket Princesses. Cause they're besties in that. And it's amazing.

You're very welcome! A lot of these beautiful entries have inspired me to do my own. I'm not sure if I can do two, but for now, I have a set idea on one I want to do.
