That…and maybe Quinn pushed a few thoughts into his head. Little ones, like how tired he was, and how soft these down-stuffed mattresses were, and how Quinn was probably ok so he could sleep… Necromantic lines to reanimated figures are useful sometimes. Once Sandy was asleep, Quinn could finally let go.
And by let go, that meant sliding out of her bed and to the window, burying her face in her hands, and sobbing quietly to herself.
