My VERY late half of an art trade with my good friend *BluebottleFlyer . I hope the wait was worth it!

I will be posting some comic drawing guides this winter. But if you really want to learn about making comics, I suggest you take a look at the book "Making Comics" by Scott McCloud. It is a really good reference.

Photoshop is a difficult tool to master. I recently posted a poll asking what people would like me to explain about making comics. You should go and vote on what you would like to learn the most.

Wow...I'm looking for the right words here...the wait was very much worth it, this is most awesome beyond words!
You captured each of my main characters wonderfully (Bartholomew isn't a main character, but thanks for including him all the same!), and I love the twist of having my creations watch their creator at work - and I have to admit, I look way better in your cartoon style then what I do in real life. 
There is only one thing I'd like you to change though, if you don't mind - I don't like being referred to by my last name, so could you please change the title to reflect that? I know my username used to be "appleyard86", but I never really liked it.

I'm glad that you like it. I threw in Bartholomew because I thought he'd be fun to draw (and he was). I tried to approximate a modern comic book pin-up style for the coloring. It takes absolutely forever to do, but the end result tends to be very nice.
Sorry for taking forever. I promise to be much more prompt in the future.
