Texting during social gatherings is really annoying. But for some reason the texters always seem oblivious to this fact. I know I've been guilty of it once or twice, but since I realized how rude it was, I have made a conscious effort to stop doing it. Especially if someone's in the middle of saying something. Seriously. Text messages can wait a few minutes. If it were really an emergency, your friend would call you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go check my e-mail.

I had a lot of fun putting this piece together. This is one of the first times in a long time that I've penciled a strip traditionally and inked digitally. Thankfully, I'm getting a bit of a better handle of how the different brushes and tools work in Manga Studio 5. Altogether, a much shallower learning curve than MS4. Which can only be a good thing.
