May I ask why you do layers? It seems like a waste of beads, in my opinion. I'm sorry if this comes of as rude, as this is really great!

I used foam core beneath each section so no beads are wasted. The foam is roughly a tad thicker than the beads so it's perfect for layering everything before adhering the bead sections to the front surface.

What kind o beads are these, I've seen other artwork using these. I'd like to do some Castlevania (SotN style) using these

This one is made of Perler and Hama beads. They're all plastic fuse beads but different companies that make different colors.

Holy moly...must have been a pain in the ass to iron that big thing. Really amazing and good looking. How did you manage that?

Fudge my life that is awesome, when I grow up in Perler Bead making land school, I want to be just like you!
I would make one to be my size, and ride it around and go through the drive through at Burger King, get me some free fries, and if they deny me I will just blow their crap up and take me some delicious, goldenly tender fries.
If it doesn't land me in jail, I will re build the burger king in my pink spaceship, it won't be open to public, so don't even try it.

Bahaha.
Oddly enough, I think many share the same life-long dream.
Who doesn't want their own burger king in a baddie spaceship?

Careful, they're really addicting! One day, you're getting a mix bucket to make Mega Man and Mario, and the next, you're ordering 200k beads for a big project...yeah, it happens fast, haha.

Between $1.30 and $1.80 per 1000ct bag, depending on how much you order from Callahan13. Look her up on eBay, she's the best. If you buy directly rom her through the Beadsprites Forum [link] she discounts shipping. All in all, this is about 18 bucks in beads, and about the same in foam core.
And thank you!

Yeah, not as bad as the $150 Skull Castle.
