Those, who don't knew..Dinosaur Planet was a game originally planned for the Nintendo 64 being developed by Rare. The game itself was cancelled and reworked into Star Fox Adventures.
Originally, the game had nothing to do with the Star Fox series and was intended to be a stand-alone title. According to an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto ( dude, who created StarFox. ), he had noticed the striking similarities between the game's characters and those of Star Fox and so the decision was made for the game to become part of Star Fox as a launch title for the Nintendo GameCube.

Why did the big N screw with Dinosaur Planet? That game had so much potential and Nintendo syphoned it all out when they removed Sabre, Randorn, and the original Krystal. Rare should have said no to Miyamoto's proposal. At least then we'd have a good game to remember them by.

now if only Shigeru could see all this fan support for Dinosaur Planet that maybe he'd be willing to do this game. I mean, even though it was in the works by rareware, it seems to be nintendos now that they had it switched over to Star Fox. kind of makes all those characters, even the ones that were dropped (Randorn ETC) Nintendo's, wouldnt that be the case.

Oh my, this is really lovely!Β I've been seeing some of your Dinosaur Planet artworks, and I'd have to say they're a really nice take on the DP story! Not to mention I'm really liking the redesigns for Sabre and Krystal: they look kind of "modern", I'd say?
I'm loving the lighting and colors on this piece in particular. Nice job!

Do you mean those clothings looks for "modern"? Well Sabre's clothes I keep as same from Dinosaur Planet. Krystal's I changed bit. ^^
