Those, who don't knew..Dinosaur Planet was a game originally planned for the Nintendo 64 being developed by Rare. The game itself was cancelled and reworked into Star Fox Adventures.
Originally, the game had nothing to do with the Star Fox series and was intended to be a stand-alone title. According to an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto ( dude, who created StarFox. ), he had noticed the striking similarities between the game's characters and those of Star Fox and so the decision was made for the game to become part of Star Fox as a launch title for the Nintendo GameCube.

It's really cool to see more General Scales artwork. He has and always will be my favorite Star Fox character. I wish they'd bring him back so that we can have a real fight against him, but first, Nintendo needs to figure out what their doing with the series. Hopefully not another remake of 64. lol

I don't believe that we will see him again. As franchise moved from the Dinosaur Planet to the Lylat Wars.
( Unless Nintendo bring him back with similar way how Star Wars brought Maul back. )
