This is an Anubis, a sort of prototype version of the Corruptor (designated FAS ACA3 Scarab) in HZD. It is a gigantic Scarab, about twice the size of a normal Scarab and is nicknamed Jackal (due to the antennae on the back of the head having a jackal-like appearance) and "The Killer of Khopesh". The Anubis was made to kill Death Bringers so its tail, talons, body etc are designed to rip them apart (as well as everything else that gets within fifty metres of it). The tail is not only long it is also massive, with giant crushing jaws and huge knife-like serrations. The flaring antennae can create EMP shockwaves (similar to the daemonic Control Towers) that can even knock down temporarily other Corruptors but this ability is mostly used on Death Bringers. The Anubis rears up on its hind legs and stomps down onto its front legs, the antennae flare and create an EMP shockwave.

They were made to stop the Faro Plague, by a senior Faro Automated Solutions Scarab Technician called Samantha Anders, but they were only successful in defending the city they were made in.

Background removed and made transparent! Muro works nicely when you do simple stuff like this on it!
Edit: I checked this out on the black background and it looks much better than I expected. I use the DA green mostly, so for once the black background works behind this transparent background image!
