I've been working on Gaelin's Sword (It's name is SWORD, yeah, original sounding, but there is a reason, but I'm just not saying what it is yet ). After putting together some ideas, I made this "blueprint" of sorts in Illustrator. I settled on a more traditional style, though I incorporated some of the elements of the original "epic style" that I was planning for it before. This contains no details, just the basic design. I'll add them once I model it in 3D. The blade will be a shining silvery color, while the fuller will be more golden with some runes written across it. The cross guard and pommel will be decorated as well. I'm going to throw this into my scraps when I upload the finished piece.

Sword Stats:
Overall Length: 47"
Blade Length: 35" (just 1" shy of 3')
Hilt: 12"
Cross-Guard Width: 10 3/4"

Also, If there is anyone out there looking at this who knows anything about swords, I'd LOVE a crit on this, especially if there is some gross error (i.e., this sword would shatter in combat because:).
Exception: I'm sure that there is some problem with there being a hole between the Rain Guard and the fuller, but that is the "socket" for the crystal shard that gives this particilar sword it's power, so that's staying.
