Thanks. Great gallery BTW!
The George Michael has some wonderful textural effects as well as being a great likeness, and your James Mason was just plain eerie! Nice work!

Yeah, most people on DA are young. Me I'm an old fart so I remember a lot of things that most can't relate to. Give 'em Spider-man, HP and LOTR and they recognize it right away, though. *sigh*

Ah, I guess I should have read this one before I asked who Falling Rock was. You draw a fantastic male figure. Very much like Frazetta in the range of motion and movement... which ordinarily is the same thing so to say more, the range of what a body can do and the motion that it is actually doing. If I make sense.

I think this one is very nice too but I would have suggested that the sword blade be moved just to the right so that the blade would go effectively between the wings. Of course it's only my opinion and it isn't like I could do anything near this good, but right now to me it seems he'd be stabbing his own wing.

Thanks, I love being compared to Frazetta. You made my day!

You know in all the times I've looked at this, both on paper and on T-shirts, I never noticed the blade's angle. Then when I posted it on DA I thought to myself that the blade needed to be behind the wing, esp. since the wings are supposed to be coming forward to surround our hero's body. I suppose it's too late to change it now....

Not as sculpture-like as the last one, but still really awesome! And the wings still do have the stylized-look that reminded me of marble sculptures in the last one now that I look again...Cool, cool, cool ^^

Oh well!
