First you get a beautiful model, take all her clothes off, then fill your hand... with a pencil I mean!

*lol* Typical, typical teen ager type person, though it seems Vel is a bit older than that even. Does she think of Elo as a father? Does she know that concept? Del and other camera crew? I'm guessing Del is along for the thrill? *lol*

Elo, although not her father, has been her guardian since her parents died when she was five. In the last few years he has begun to tutor her in the ways of the mystic breeching occassionally the walls that separate dark magic from more traditional practitioners. Her reaction to his reaction is typical teenage rejection of the oppressive elder's philosophies.

Why don't they ever learn? And being an evil sorceror type, I'm sure he's got a lot more creative ways to punish her beside "spanking".

Funny thing, he rants and raves and threatens but for some reason, he never punishes. Must be those parenting classes? No?

I think maybe the old "once he started he couldn't stop" might not have anything to do with it eh? Hard to suck out a soul and rejuve your life force if you kill her before she hits the proper age. *lol* Just can't wait too long... look what happened to Raistlin.

Sucking out life forces for rejuvenation is one thing and most young girls will fill that bill, Velvet, however, is a crop that if cultivated properly will reap outstanding rewards, so the proper mental attitude towards her squire is all-important. He must be loving and kind to her no matter how many demons he has to flog in the back room to vent his (growing) frustration with his teenage ward, and he must make sure she feels loving and trusting toward him.

Del has his reasons, it's true, thrill being one of them, although a lesser one. Much as he dislikes it, Del has to occassionally perform tutorial duties, nurturing tasks and even occassionally leads -albeit reluctantly- our ragtag group of personages.
For the record, Vel is barely past her eighteenth birthday (she's a Pisces) in this shot. (Wouldn't want censorship problems.)

Do I hang around teenagers too much or what?
I swear I've heard her kind of logic from students more times than I can count! If my parents/guardian/step-parent/teacher/PO Officer/Whatever doesn't like it... I'll do it!

This is excellent, I really like this.
It really suits the unboxed type and I love youre Jim Lee esque style of drawing girls.
Are you going to be colouring/inking this also?
