your proportions are growing more and more into the photo-realistic style, i see you easily get the hang of it, after all, a master is still a Master

A Comic artist friend I have ( Dan Parsons...he has a site ) as taught me to try and let the art stand well on it's own..then when/if it goes to color it will be all the Cooler..I've kinda live by that rule

That's a good rule. Mostly I'm just working on character stances and movement and consistency. When I start putting them into panels, the lighting and further embellishments will come, but I still feel I want to try to tell the story with a minimalist sensitivity, and keeping story-telling the number one rpiopity. I just wish I had more time to tell the stories! Gotta go work on a mural for the drill team's backdrop, now. Then the Idaho coloring book, a caricature and a portrait, then maybe I'll get to draw a page or two! Whew!

Bob these are all Character sketches? I noticed they could be rendered more...or is it going to be up to the colorest?

To be honest I don't want it to look over-rendered and when using coloring on the computer, that's usually how it ends up. They are all done with that intent. It's something I've observed with Frank Quitely, Greg Land and John Cassaday in particular. It seems to free the colorist to create tonal rendering that complements the image.
