So I am continuing my progress on creating a cosplay outfit to wear at San Japan this year. Now, last year was terrifying because I had a lot less understanding of what I was doing and what I was going to go through. This year, I know a bit more about what to expect, and so I can definitely plan on having much better photographs to share with all you guys once the day comes. But for now... well, I'm still in the starting stages, haha.

It took a considerable amount of math to design the pattern pieces to accurately conform to the shape of the breast-forms underneath the top portion of the leotard shown here, haha. Finally, my math degree gets put to good use. Still, now's not the time to be resting on one's laurels... as time has a way of slipping through the cracks and events like the aforementioned have a way of sneaking faster than anticipated. What you see here is actually just the test version of the outfit, made from simple cotton cloth. It's mostly for testing purposes, and hence when it's time to make the final version of the garment I will have to do it all over again using the correct fabrics and materials, lol.

A lot of work, really.

You can expect a lot more of these photograph and/or photomanip style deviations in the near future, as they are a really great way to keep up with a content posting schedule without having to kill myself over traditional and/or digital art.
