...I can't quite place the reason why, but the way the torchlight (at least, that's what I'm referring to it as) is drawn in the first panel gives an applicably ominous feel to the throne room.

The way his feet are not touching the ground makes it as if he is kinda short for that throne/chair.

He's about the same size as Aksel, and the carpenter who made his throne wasn't used to making a one that big and made it too big XD

Oh so that is why the soldiers looked tiny. That is just wonderful.
Things like these are what make me enjoy comics. Little quirks and facts here and there. As well as the pretty art.
