Well here in this artwork i tried to show as well as possible the probable reaction of Shepard, Garrus and Samarato the destruction of Earth.Here a super giant reaper completely annihilates Earth.. and the Moon
it took a while to pull this one out, i wanted to show the scale of this destructive power unleashed by that reaper class.
You can also see the aftermath of it on the Moon, which is completely torn apart.
Softwares used:
Cinema 4D
Photoshop
Time: the first time i worked on it i spent about 6/7 hours, then i dropped for a while cause i wasn't 100% convinced, then i took it back for a total of about 14/15 hours.

Holy.... I'm guessing that's what the Reapers send in when they come across a species that won't quit fighting them. Their idea of a weapon of last resort. I can definitely guess which option Shepard's choosing at the Crucible: Destroy in a heartbeat.Β Turning the ReapersΒ intoΒ a galactic peacekeeping force or turning everyone into cyborgs wouldn't cut it.

A proposed response to the Earth's destruction:
Step One: Scream and cry in outrage.
Step Two: Get pissed off like no other.
Step Three: Ensure the Reapers die in pain, screaming or whimpering, and that they will never harm anyone again.
Step Four: Pick up the pieces left of the galaxy. Β
Step Five: Properly mourn, honor, and pay tribute to the memory of the lost; live out life as well and happily as one can, and ensure the lost are never forgotten. Β

Sounds like a good plan to me. Man, the human race would take such a hit from something like this. We'd probably become the new Quarians of the galaxy before finding a new homeworld. Hopefully, the other sentient species would come to our aid.

Wouldn't destroying a planet be counter-productive for the Reapers? Make them lose a breeding ground for new species to flourish and evolve on to be assimilated in the next extinction cycle?
