Wow...great photo. Brings back memories of when I was in Europe 3 years ago. What subway station did you take that photo at? I probably walked up those steps...

The actual station that was taken at I've long forgotten, the picture is from my first trip there a few years ago and I went to a lot of stations

This is quite.. Like being totally drunk. Fortunately it stays still, and doesn't wobble all around the place. Gotta admit, like the distortion here. Is it just a fisheye lens that made it, or is there more to it?

That is straight off a normal camera (my Nikon 5400 I had at the time) and how it looked in real life!

Quite interesting, then I think somebody has been really drunk while making the tunnel.

surreal, indeed. but a great shot, I like these sort of subway stations... hmm, really gotta get my cameras packed and head for London once again... been there last spring, for the last time now, carrying my Praktica and the tripod with me in the plane from Germany, to first figure out that I lost my tripod head somewhere in the airport and then my camera broke after just half a film of doing night-pictures near Tate Modern. :/ well, better luck next time I guess...

Sounds like quite the ordeal, good luck next time! Im jealous that you're so close...takes me 10 hours of flying to get there, haha

wow, 10 hours in the plane _surely_ sucks... then again, as a city I like Sao Paulo probably even more than London, but that's where I am just too far away to go there for a short photo trip. Well, maybe one day again... London's just great, besides that, even though I'm just slowly getting "into" the city, finding places and locations away from the usual tourist areas...

I can recommend Dresden (that's where I live) Though the city sometimes seems to be just _calm_ compared to London, Amsterdam or Berlin (indeed it's also a lot smaller), it surely has some sights worth visiting, as well as some places not too crowded by tourists.

I've been to Cambridge before, lovely little city. I was mostly constrained to my Dad's itenerary for his trip as I was tagging along, but I hope to go back with friends or by myself to explore, I love Europe, or what I've seen of it thusfar (England, France, Belgium) But I'll definitely keep those places in mind, I like the smaller places as well as the bigger cities.

I've done sort of a Europe-round-trip with my girlfriend some years ago, just living in a tent and out of a mid-sized cars trunk for a couple of weeks, but it was an interesting experience, goin' from the Netherlands and Belgium all the way down the German border to Switzerland... felt kind of restless, but it really gave some interesting insights, showed us some beautiful smaller places, was something really worth doing. Would be interesting doing something like that in the US one day, let's see...
