Pushing Daisies fanart!!! Because I love it so <3 Makes meh giggle. I've never drawn these characters before and I love them already! Might do some more of 'em

Spent about 3 and a half hours painting it, trying to make it look as lush as possible. Haven't spent that long on any picture for AGES but it's been fun XD

Done with a mixture of watercolours, acrylics and markers, and had to do some digi enhancing to counteract the scanner degrading. I really needed the characters to POP, especially Chuck's dress - so I used the markers as a base for that. But I couldn't use them on Ned because there's another sketch on the back of the page which I wanna keep, and they would have seeped through terribly. So he looked kinda pasty - enter Photoshop! and ta-da. The real one looks better than this one.

Was looking through the sketchbook I've been using since May, which I wanted to make interesting. So I've been trying to do different pictures, a mixture of fanart and original stuff with colour and overflowing pages etc. And it was going okay for a couple of months, but it's been getting boring and repetitive again.

So I wanted COLOUR! And the Daisies happened cuz I'm in need of a bit of brightening up.
