Description
I downloaded the Tie model from Scifi3d in Lightwave format and converted it to an obj usingPoseRay. I then UV mapped it using a mixture of Wings3d, Roadkill and UVmapper Classic and
added a bunch of textures from my library. The entire landscape was made in Bryce and
exported in obj format. Rendered in Daz Studio with some postwork in Photoshop.

This brings me back to the days of Star Wars: Tie Fighter. Impressive...most impressive.

That's not the Interceptor or the Hunter. What model is it?

The Tie Advanced (as said in the description) The first known Tie Advanced was actually Vader's Tie, which was also a prototype.

The Advanced didn't have open wings, but then again someone said that's the Mark Five of the Advanced line so anything could have changed.

the prototype didn't have open wings, but when they actually produced it they changed it. That is why the Tie Interceptor has open wings as the Tie Advanced is its predecessor.
