I really like how you managed this effect with just light airbrushing and a ton of cell-shading--it looks AMAZING!
And this style oh my gosh--and I can only imagine how tedious all of those snowflakes were to do!
And I can easily see that you either drew each tree individually or added a new layer of shading to each one because of the wood texture you expressed--and it also looks good!

I'll admit that this style is one of my favorites to draw in. The snowflakes wasn't too bad when you add in "spread" into the brush ~ :'DΒ
Yup. New layers of shading was used on the three texture. It's a rather simplistic stroke of black but it really does wonders sometimes!
