If you'll recall, Otto searching for trashed robots was depicted in the previous bumper illustration .Sounds like dear old Dad inspired Otto's love for robots in more than one way.

Robots are safe, people are not!
Makes me think of how autistic people often do better with machines (or some animals) than other people, safer- more predictable and all that. I even read about one case where a parent got their child a cell-phone so they could talk to Siri, and over time it actually helped said child do better in relating with real people! Partly because Siri never gets tired of being asked questions, and always has time to answer them.
