First off I would like to say that this piece is marvelous, I do not care what others have to say about it implying bukkake, it still must have taken quite a bit of skill to take this shot. Second I'm sorry that your piece got spammed with religious comments. DA is a place for people around the world to share their art, consequently there are going to be many forms of religion or none at all for some. As DA is a multi-cultural site it is not the type of place to post your religious views as many may be offended by them. Just because you believe in your religion does not mean you should force your views upon everyone else. Most people here would just like to enjoy the art shared in this community. If the religious spammers are reading this please take your topic to a private chat board that only concerns your religion. Once again, it's a beautiful piece ^__^

i see many comments on the facial expression, and understandable as the face seems to be a point of focus.
what really catches *my* eye are the hands.
it makes me imagine every muscle in that woman's body stretched to the point of bursting from her skin.
"Rapture" = ecstasy: a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion.
you've captured emotion on film.

The reason I clicked on this picture is because I saw the model's face and thought "Wow, someone's splashing something awfully cold on her!" and I thought it was funny and cute. I didn't even think of anything sexual until I read some of the comments left here. And even if it were a sexual innuendo, does it really matter? It's a great pic with a priceless expression! I think I understand how the title was produced aswell. I may be wrong, but I think it would be the reaction to having somethin that cold splooshed all over you. In fact, if that's the case, I probably would've come up with the same title. It's seems appropriate to me.

ah beauty is in the eye of the beholder..... i find it neat how people take pictures like this.... lol im not a photographer but i do tend to like art alot.. my friend on the other hand wants to become one but the school where I live cut the photography class this year. Unlucky break for him. Really its wierd and neat at the same time on how you can capture images in les than a second. The lighting is wonderful too. ^^ Awsome Job!

Great shot. the expression is confusing to me, however, ANY expression migh have been difficult to cath.
On the subject of 'Milk'......
When some believer in cow's milk, can explain to me why they accept COW'S milk, while rejecting all possible other milk(s). Then I will wholly agree that they can understand how I so easily dismiss their 'Cow's milk."

I don't understand the piece about God and christianity by slather-slab...completely irrelevant, while true, kind of offensive as was mentioned above. Religion is not to be forced or pushed on anyone and will only turn those seeking off more. There's a time and a place for everything, and commenting on a piece called "Rapture" (being completely non-relevant to the Bible or religion whatsoever except for rumor/superstition) is un-necessary. Great piece however!

Artisticly, yes, it is very beautiful. You have a great skill at capturing the motion. But are you satisfied with what you have, is it what you wanted?

Alright I have somthin to say about all of that. My dad is a paster, for all of you out there who dont know who that is, its sombody who leads a church. What that guy was saying was totally true and I totally believe that but................ WRONG TIMING. I love what he had to say and I pray that all of you out there will believe that someday, it just wasn't the right time. I mean, now wonder if the guy who took the pic. is freaking out about if he's going to heaven or not. What the thing is, is that we need to understand that Jesus died for you and he died for me, If you know that and believe that, then your going to heaven, no dout about it. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS BELIEVE. When you become a christian, it dosn't mean that your not a sinner. Were always sinners, untill the day we go to be with Him (Jesus).

This is the first time that I speak aloud in this place, as I see it necessary to end this irreverant and irrelevant banter.
Cease at once! Have any of you no respect for this photographer's art? It was conceived, practiced, produced, and set here before you and all the world to see and share; and what is done but a lot of children bitch and debate someone's inappropriate "spam".
I consider myself an artist, although just a fledgeling to this domain, but if it were me who was disrespected in such a manner, you would have all been reported for such stupidity.
Take it to some place where it is more befitting the situation. And I apologize to this artist for contributing to this foolishness.

I could understand the comments on how this might be sexual. Though in a person thought and statement, I like what you did, it seems to fit better in the image than clear water esp. for it being in black and white. :thumbup: good work, glad you got the DD
