Doodle of Metal Sonic, any comments or critques are welcome.Used FC pens to ink and Prismacolor markers (and my lone cool grey Copic marker) to color.

This is hot. Literally XD I just love your shading on this, especially the lava and the highlights on Metal!

I love the colors. There's the contrast between the hot background and the blue metal, the orange reflections/reflex lighting on Metal's shiny parts, all that. I also like the semi-abstract approach you took to the rocks there.
If you don't mind my nitpicking a little, it's a little dark, and the hands could use some work. Other than that, though, it's excellent. Especially for a "doodle."
Probably the best part is the crackly electricity. Not only do I like the look of it, but it also bumps up the picture from just "angry Metal Sonic against fire" (not that there's anything wrong with that) to something with its own mini-story: Metal may be damaged, but he's not done with you yet. It really makes it fit the title.
That, and if he backed up he'd be in the fire, which would be ouchy.

Even though there isn't much movement going on there is a face-crunching amount of action in this work. His stance simply screams "get ready for me" and the explosion/lava in the background does more than it's fair share of emphasizing it. You do Metal justice.

the exploding rock and blaze behind him puts this on an entirely new level of epic. I can't help but think of MS here returning from the "grave" after he "died" in a flow of lava in the archie comics the archie comics after saving Sonic and Tails' lives

I love Metal Sonic. This picture of him is great. Reminds me of the Sonic movie with the lava/explosion in the background. Awesome job!
