Description
Another animation for my Animation I class. And this one's actually "complete"!The assignment this time was to have an object or character animated to a moving background.
So I took the generic "running through a field" aproach featuring who is supposed to be Lucky the Louie. But he's missing that little insignia on his stomach and his feet are supposed to be white. V:
All in all, I'm kinda proud of the final product. Although I know it could've looked more creative with the whole design, and I still need to get a handle on keeping forms more consistent when doing frame by frame.

Side note: I had intentions of adding Fortune (a chocobo character), but again, tight schedule, due dates, and all that.

I think this looks great man, it's very fluid, and nice touch with the bouncing ears... I like the BG movement too (passing clouds and hill)

How many Key frames was the run cycle itself?

Well that's cool! Louies are cool. The way you've drawn him here I suppose the running does look nice!...But in the games don't they sorta, are supposed to be ridden and hop around kinda? It's been so long since I've played lol

I think in the Louies' original premier, they were only ridden on and hopped around, but in later games, they would walk and run more human like, and less Roo like.

Nah, its not free. Its oddly expensive.
But there are "certain ways" to attain it for free. Though I don't openly condone such methods. V:
There are other animation programs you can get legally for free including one called "Pencil".
