Hey, guys!  I was inspired by my last drawing of the Balingup crow Pokemon to create this new character for Sonic's universe.  So, I'd like you to meet Balingup the Crow.

The name Balingup comes from a place in Australia famous for its scarecrows, as I mentioned in my last drawing.  And like my crow Pokemon, Balingup here can possess people or humanoid objects such as robots - he's basically like a ghost or poltergeist.  Though, he can't possess someone for very long; he either comes flying out of a living character involuntarily, or the Eggman robot he possesses explodes.

He has a mischievous personality & is a thief that possesses others to steal rare objects.

He comes from the desert floating island of Karnes Island, home to the seven Gos Emeralds he's seeking to further increase his own powers.  Including making his power of ghostly possession last longer than it currently can.

His clan of body-snatching crows is part of Jet's Babylonian race, so his people originally hailed from Babylon Garden as well.  However, his people decided to migrate from the Babylonians & eventually found their way to Karnes Island.

He proves to be a worthy opponent to both Sonic & Dr. Eggman as his body-snatching ability can possess Sonic's friends as well as Dr. Eggman's robots.  Sonic is unable to hurt his friends, even with Balingup possessing them.  And Dr. Eggman's robots, as said before, explode after being possessed.  How can Sonic overcome this new foe?
