Description
*I don't own the rights or characters of the Pokemon franchise. Those rights belong to Game Freak, the Pokemon Company & Nintendo. What I create is only based on my imagination.Hey, gang! Remember those deep sea Pokemon, like the sea angel, I talked about in my last art description? The ones trainers can't normally capture, because they're deep below the surface of the ocean; below tons of aquatic pressure. Well, sorry I didn't create the sea angel yet. Still working on the creation process of that.
But I did create my own deep sea version of a sea cucumber, found at the bottom of the sea or near the bottom of the ocean. I call him "Cucunder" (cucumber x under). He's got two mouths: one below on his body & one on top with tentacles that stretch out to snag some prey above him. And he's got multiple glowing, pale eyes to see in the dark around him.
He spends his time on the sea floor, hunting any prey who are on or swim near it. He's a glutton to say the least.
Remember, guys, you can't catch this guy or the sea angel Pokemon I plan to conjure next in my (fanfic) region(s). You can only see holograms of this little guy in some aquariums or natural science museums, courtesy of researchers that travelled to the bottom of the sea in a safe submarine.
And the fact is, they couldn't bring the little guy to the surface as he probably wouldn't have survived the differences in aquatic pressure or warm(er) temperatures. He lives at the bottom of the sea, which is a whole different environment; dark & cold.
That's not to say Pokemon & marine scientists aren't trying, though. They're trying to make a machine that recreates the deep ocean environment in a tank of salt water. I call it a tank, but it's more like a machine with no windows holding salt water. Cucunder lives in a dark environment, after all. But these scientists (in my games) are still a ways off from making it & their research on Cucunder & the sea angels into a reality.
And if that's not enough, they need to create special PokeBalls to capture these deep ocean Pokemon & bring them back to the surface. Talk about a booked schedule of things to do, am I right?
Anyway, you can't catch or even encounter these guys in the game. You can only see holograms of them in mock "aquarium tanks" in aquariums or museums (as the Protagonist of my Pokemon games). Maybe in (my) Gen 11 games, you can? Or can you?
Joking aside, what do you think of my cute Cucunder? He's colorful, bioluminescent & a carnivore.
If you have any comments or requests for me, please put them in the comments section below. Until next time!
