OK, another Gaara pic. I'm not sure why I keep drawing him...This was inspired by a pic from the Marvel website.

This took a couple of days on and off to do. Completely digital. First time I tried sand like that too, so some bits are fairly sloppy. Well, hope you like it.
*Update - 5 Oct 05*
Finally posted the new version of this. I added more detail to the shirt, changed the eyes a little, attempted to fix the kanji, decreased the title point size and improved the colour (I think) So, it should look much nicer now. After fixing the calibration on my monitor, I discovered how washed out the original looked, so I hope this is an improvement.

oh, Gaara is a character from an anime called Naruto. It's about ninjas. This guy had a sand demon kind of thing bound to him as a child. Now, he can control sand, and he carries it with him in a gourd on his back. If he loses control of himself, it takes over his mind.

Well, I can't always do fanart. I'm not creative then. But....I have got plans for a new Gaara piece. I had no idea he was so popular. I just drew him because he was different

ahh, there are plenty. I've gotta even up the eyes, and add more detail to the shirt. I'm also working on touching up the kanji on his forehead. It was typed, and people noticed that, so I want it to look more like brush strokes. I've got a long way to go. But thanks for the compliments
