Description A shot taken near Arashiyama, in Kyoto. Took a while to get this shot as there were other tourists slowly wandering around. I had to wait for a very slow couple who took shots of each other, checked them, then switched positions, checked their shots, then switched again.... we saw that same couple earlier in the day, when taking this [link] shot.

This was a beautiful place - somewhere I'd love to go again and spend more time at.

omg i want to go there! also, this is a scenario of gran turismo 4 (and i think prologue 5 also haves this set) where you can take pics of your cars. amazing place indeed!

Ahh, where you take photos of the cars. Thought you meant there was a course running through it. Don't really remember that scene though. I didn't get too far in GT4, mainly because the AI bugged me so much.
Thanks for the comment!

Havent upload any pics from my trip yet, but I just came back from here in July. Did you check out the monkey park across the river from this place?

no, didn't see the monkey park there, but I did see one in Yamasaki, where a mate lived. Amazing to see them roaming around.

Didn't know you were also in Japan. How long were you there for?
