Description
Commission of 's OC Gray Wraith. She's a light and shadow manipulator. This took a damn long time, what with all the stuff that's been going on out in the real world. It took so long in fact that he forgot he'd requested a commission
He seems to like it and I hope you do too.
WACOM and Photoshop. Pose based off a pic of a Marvel Girl Statuette I found on Google.
As always Comments and Critiques are welcome. I just ask that you critique my work and not the character design.

Pretty good. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

I realize they're inside of the white glow or the black glow where she's creating the smoke, but I still think they should have more contrast so they don't do the kind of vanishing act they're doing. The shading inside the cape I think could also use a little work. I noticed that you put a bit of light to the left of her figure back there, which is good, but the shape of it makes the cape look flat there to me rather than being curved. I might angle the lights in the back of the cape and give them a bit of curve. I might also add a second layer of shadow on the back of the cape behidn her figure so you get both the shadow from the cape itself and her shadow. Someone else in a critique of one of my pieces recommended avoiding true-grays. That may also make this stand out a little more, if you go with a very slight indigo hue.

Really nice job overall.
I really like the highlights on the black suit.
It gives her nice dimension.

I like the really dark blacks. It makes the suit look all rubbery or leather like.

Thanks. That was the look I was going for. That's pretty much the way the character was described to me. Thanks for the fave too

At first I thought that the title said "Gay Wraith." I'm slightly disappointed.
BUT MOSTLY NOT. This is really cool, myfriend. As per usual, you talented man.

Oh, you're very welcome dear sir!
Hmm...well I don't know of any gay characters! From comic books, anyway...I've always been a fan of Harley and Ivy, and I think it's awesome that Batgirl is gay now. But yeah...that's the extent of my knowledge. Haha!

Overall this looks very nice. My only issue is that the black you used to color the suit could have been lighter black so that you don't lose the line art and have to rely on whites. Other than that nice work.

I toyed around with the idea of a different shade of black for cape and suit but decided to try experimenting with the highlights. I appreciate your input and thanks for the fave as well
