Had Smash Ultimate arrive a few days ago, and I've been really enjoying it! For the most part, i've been playing through World of Light, and these three are the characters I've been playing the most (especially Kirby)And I have to draw more Kid Icarus fanart! I loved Uprising a lot, and I'm still hoping for a switch installment in the series. For now, though, fanart will have to do ;-;
Also, first drawing of 2019! And look at how much i've improved 'u'
I've changed up how I draw a lot in just this drawing alone, and I really like it! I'm finally deciding on the rules for my coloured lines, and I'm trying to incorporate lighter and darker shading more. All in all, super cute and clean!

Hmm I agree with you, but I've found that Ultimate has a lot more singleplayer content in Spirits than 4, so if that sounds interesting to you, maybe give it a shot? I dunno, though, I see where you're coming from

Single player content is always nice!! I still have a bunch of games on my list that i want to play first, so i might pick it up after I finish those ahaha.
...Though the question is if I'll ever manage to stop being lost in breath of the wild.Β
oh boy i would LOVE a new kid icarus - actually i think what i should do is probably replay it at some poitn because it has hands down one of my favourite mechanics on the 3ds

Right? It's a lot longer than other zelda games! But it's also a lot of fun to play so it's all good ahahaΒ
(It's funny bc i was VERY worried i wouldn't enjoy it, and now im like THIS LADY GAVE ME AN EGG BC I'M THEIR BACKYARD 10/10)
Also to be fair TWEWY is like super high on my list and i've played that like 10 times already so maybe it's not that super vital that i play it... but also... it's my favourite game on DS...Β

Yeah!! And i'm the type to procrastinate (and i'm easily entertained haha) so I actually didn't even get round to fighting Ganon until after i'd had the gas for a year lol
And I love all the little quests!! My favourite is the one you unlock after you've fully upgraded your house (if you haven't done that one you should- it's great)

So usually I'm not sure if I should rec people TWEWY, because the gameplay is quite intense and it's difficult to judge if people will enjoy it? (At least it is on DS, idk how it is on Switch ofc since the whole dual screen thing is a bit different)
But the game I consider to be closest to it gameplay-wise, despite it being completely different genres, is actually Kid Icarus? Like it has that Paying Attention To Two Things At The Same Time gameplay, and it has dynamic difficulty levels that you can change around for certain benefits, etc. The style's really cool, the story's very good with a good balance between angst and random dumb npcs to fall in love with, like if the gameplay's up your alley there's really no reason I wouldn't rec it, ahaha.Β

Hmm that sounds really fun actually! I'll have to check if people say the Switch port is any good, but I enjoy some fast paced gameplay from time to time haha! And how you described the story honestly reminds me a bit of Ghost Trick, and gt is one of my favourite games of all time, so that's all good haha
