And thus, Paladin has become an utilitarian. He will sacrifice few Digimons if it means saving more Digimons in the process.

[I've reached page three (yet there doesn't seem to be a link for page four or five), and his trial is quite morbid. Having to reface those you've ended for the good of the world is quite a heavy feeling... Especially for someone as Paladin]

Although his choices were for the best for all Digimon, innocent's are dead due to his way. As even if it meant the salvation of many, he'd still be straying from what he sworn to never be:

Well, he is not actually dead per se, since everything happened in his head. It's more like he lost and surrendered tothe evil in him. The evil that took form as his dead brother.

Either way, the predicament is rather challenging as he did give in to the darkness hidden beneath his task and desire to aid every Digimon]
