Description
After being lost in the mists of Fogmire, an evil swamp located deep in the depths of the jungle, the adventurers finally confronted Olangru, a Barlgura ape-demon who has been tracking them since their arrival on the island and responsible for many nighttime misdeeds, the latest of which is the kidnapping of the young Tavey Nesk to take him to the bottom of a temple devoted to Demorgogon and sacrifice him there later.Fira, clad in a spell of luminous armor, faces the demon as do Anariel, but it is finally Liam who, with a huge sword blow, will put the creature to its knees.

I wrecked a couple D20s by throwing them at brick walls when they got me killed; but otherwise I've lost far more than I've worn out. I'm going to have to take a long look at your gallery because I keep wanting to write stories similar to this but never quite seem to get them finished. Finding inspiration is always nice.

Really like the lighting and the composition in this. The red of the orangutan's fur really contrasts against the blues of the scene.

Epic awesomeness, love the fur and colors on the orangutan. Magnificent dynamic charcters and poses and the magical effects take this to another level of perfection.

J'adore ce style depuis le début, le fond brun ou tirant sur le turquoise c'est ta marque de fabrique au niveau esthétique
Quant aux scènes d'actions - ce sont mes préféres - elles sont toujours originals (ça aussi j'adore l'originalité) et très bien faite, rien à redire.
C'est drôle que nos héros s'en prennes à un orang outang survitaminé

Merci, c'est vrai que j'aime bien cet étalonnage. En fait c'est plutôt le démon simiesque qui s'en prend aux persos pratiquement depuis leur échouage sur la plage.

Wow, I am impressed with the dynamic action and how battle ready and engaged everyone is. That ape-demon looks badass too! It looks terrifying and totally captures the viewer's attention. The blue face really gives it such a 'demonic' look.
edit: I wanted to say this image reminds me of one I would have seen in the old Doc Savage, Tarzan, or Conan magazines/comics from way back in the 70s. The action, look of the characters, and coloring feel very nostalgic for lack of a better word.

Hi Glen, I totally agree with your feeling about the comics of the 70s. I like the poses and the atmosphere and the talent of the illustrators who know how to show great action scenes without ever falling into the gory stuff.
On the other hand, it was the first time I used Look at my Hair and Vue announced 770 hours of rendering with my usual settings! I had to adjust the settings accordingly to drop to 3 hours and spend more time on the post-twork. But I thought I'd never get that one out!
And yes I do like my orange and blue Ape demon!!
